Opsvik completely broke the tradition of “one chair, one posture.” Inspired by the balanced position of a horseback rider, he created the iconic Capisco – allowing the body to move freely between sitting forward, backward, and sideways. His designs are not only a point of pride for Norwegian design but have also redefined ergonomics: the chair no longer restricts you – it moves with you.
